Synopsis

Soraya Intercine Films has several times successfully filmed a best-selling novel, termasukdi including "5 cm" (2012) and "Sinking Ship Van Der Wijck" (2013). Coming to the end of 2014, they re-released the latest movie adaptation of a best-selling novel, the Supernova works Dewi Lestari. Brand-new movie of the same name with the title of the novel will also be starring Herjunot Ali who became the main character in two films above. 

Not only that, the director Rizal Mantovani and finalists of Miss Indonesia 2008 Raline Shah who is also an alumnus of the film "5 cm" (2012) also took part in the movie "Supernova", along Fedi Nuril and Arifin Putra. The film has the subtitle "Knight, Princess, and The Shooting Star" itself would merge the story of romance and science in the genre of drama, like the novel that adds elements of science, philosophy and spirituality in her romance. 

Supernova movie tells the story of two writers ambition, Reuben (Arifin Putra) and Dimas (Hamish David) who wants to make work together. At first they met in a lavish party in Washington DC. Indonesian students who are both currently studying in the United States that was promised to write a book about romance science that can inspire the hearts of many people; which is a story of "Knight, Princess and The Shooting Star." 

While in Jakarta, a story of forbidden love between a young executive intertwined, Ferre (Herjunot Ali) and Rana (Raline Shah) who is deputy editor of the magazine respected in Indonesia. Interview between them produce an honest conversation about love, sacrifice and freedom, which makes them fall in love. In fact, Rana has been married to Arwin (Fedi Nuril), a successful businessman and well-known in Jakarta.

When their forbidden relationship that continues, a top model named Diva (Paula Verhoeven) suddenly appears also in life Ferre. Women who turned out during this stay in the same complex with Ferre, bahkandengan houses facing each other,

has a side profession as a top class prostitute. Interestingly, three of the relationship was also the same with the story of three characters in the book written Reuben and Dimas.

The third character is shown by the story Kstaria Ferre, in accordance with the character Princess Rana, and like living Falling Star Diva. Supernova story becomes a key determinant knitting real life between Ferre, Rana danDiva with fictional story Dimas and Reuben it, and bring them together in the same one-dimensional life. Then how ultimately their life stories? What will then happen?
